-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Epiphone Guitar has a long and lively history!

According to history, Anastasios Stathopoulos of Greece, built his first instrument in 1873. He had a son named "Epi," and in 1924 his son registered the brand name "Epiphone."

In 1928, this company released it's first recording guitars which were made of carved tops and spruce and maple tonewoods. Then in 1931, Epiphone offered 12 models of f-hole archtop guitars including the top models of the DeLuxe, Broadway and Triumph, which became the most familiar model names for the next 40 years!

The Epiphone guitars brand continued as a respected guitar, then in the early 1990's the brand really took off!

New collections were introduced and were made popular by interesting releases like the Nashville USA collection, signature models like the Supernova, and more.

Now the Epiphone guitar is consider one of the best to choose with it's huge diversity, signature models and the ability to combine and "rub shoulders" with Gibsons top guitars.
